Our client is an award winning boutique architecture firm based in Columbia, Maryland that specializes in civic and cultural projects that improve communities. They are searching for an experienced Project Manager to join their vibrant studio.

Employees work in collaborative design teams under the direction of the Studio Director. Design teams consist of a Principle, Project Manager, Project Architect and Staff Architect(s). Each member of the design team has equal voice in pursuit of design excellence for each project, and the work environment is flexible.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates all project efforts
  • Contribute to the design of projects.
  • Detail building skins and interiors.
  • Assists in preparing design drawings and construction documents.
  • Coordinate with design consultants.
  • Assist with modeling new and existing buildings in Revit.
  • Perform project code analysis.
  • Write specifications.
  • Meet with clients and write minutes of meetings.
  • Provide Leadership and management of the project, client, consultants and architectural staff.
  • Manages project schedule and budget.
  • Assist with project billings.
  • Assist with estimating fees, scope of work

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience
  • Architecture License required
  • Revit proficiency preferred
  • Project experience with churches, schools, community centers is a plus
  • Bachelor of Architecture degree from an accredited program, Master’s degree preferred
