Our client is an award winning, mid-sized, integrative architecture and design consultancy, based in Dupont Circle. They are searching for an experienced Architect/Interior Designer  to join their growing studio focused on making commercial workplaces work better.

The firm takes a collaborative and integrative approach, not only designing workplaces for optimal productivity and happiness, but providing a complete set of operational, technical and cultural recommendations. The architect/designer will work on and manage teams with people touching all facets of the design and consultation process.

This is a fast-paced work environment, with exciting clients and a lot of opportunity to take on leadership roles.


  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Interior Design / Architecture / Business
  • Minimum of 4 – 8 years of experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal/team skills and ability to effectively direct, communicate, and work with a diverse set of project stakeholders and provide team support – both internal and external.
  • Ability to address challenges, ask questions and determine how to get answers in a timely manner
  • Organized and proficient with personal time and team management with an ability to complete assignments and report
  • Able to communicate directly with clients, contractors, consultants and internal team members about critical project requirements and goals
  • Able to develop work for and direct other designers / consultants
  • Ability to prioritize a variety of tasks/projects
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and Revit software
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency
