Senior Architect

The firm is now seeking a licensed Architect with CREA registration to be in a lead role for our office in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, have professional or academic experience in the United States or Europe and have preferably 10 + years experience on large projects.  Ability to effectively convey information and ideas verbally and in writing in a clear and accurate manner with proficiency in both English and Portuguese languages. Experience in the latest versions of AutoCAD is preferred, but not mandatory. 

Qualified candidates will:

• Support marketing and business development activities.
• Represent the firm at project meetings during all phases of design, documentation and construction.
• Support in the development and review of design concepts and construction documents. 
• Possess proven experience in supervision and project management. 
• Have knowledge of Brazilian project design, construction documentation and construction administration methods and procedures. 
• Possess proven experience with interpreting and applying Brazilian regulatory codes to project design. 
• Professionally seal documents as required. 
• Assist in creating and maintaining an office work climate that stimulates individuals to contribute new ideas in a spirit of teamwork. 
• Diligently support the firm’s policies.
